A video was recorded and projected in live in the gallery, by Anthony Marques.
The installation « Outillage Vernissage » shows this process where I transfer actions, technics and roles from a domain to another : the one who builds, the one who cooks, and the one who draws, meet, exchange and interfere though collaborations.
Vernissage was the point of this exhibition, as a social, chemical, and culinary moment. Vernissage is tradition from the art world to inauguration an exhibition : traditionally, the painter painted a last coating layer on his paintings to finish them.
« Outillage Vernissage » is a proposition to use this vernissage ritual as a way to activate the exhibition. The craft of laquer and coatings was then the main reference to imagine tools, gestures and recipes too. The central tool was a laquer filter, of which the size was extended by 4. This tool becomes a feeding tool, as it spreads different coatings during the vernissage time, during the exhibition, and during the performative diners as well. The latter become then a repetitive vernissage moment, as an experience of sharing and meeting of the other participants.
